It is surprising
how much knowledge, experience and skills you will have
gained whilst outside the 'workplace'. Think about what
you enjoy, what knowledge and experience you have, do
you want full-time or part-time hours, a large or a
small organisation? Can you type, organised an event,
can you sell, are you good with numbers?
Temporary Work
This is an excellent route back into the workplace and
the hours can be flexible. For instance, you may wish
to work school hours, or maybe, study or re-train at
college. Many temporary workers are offered permanent
positions as this route allows an insight into the company
and the company to assess your skills.
Permanent Work
We will talk through with you your requirements and
discuss individual vacancies for either part-time or
full-time.
We will be able to assess your skills in a non-threatening
way.
Training/Development
of Skills
Armstrong's have gathered a great deal of information
on who and where the best training providers are to
suit you.
Your local college, Business Link, Learning Skills Council
and Careers Office will be only too pleased to give
information.
Remember, there may be funding available for your training
and development. The first step is the hardest, but
we can help.
